Snowflake Pillows and Advent Calendars

This PA Day class has something for beginners and for those with sewing experience: 

Advent Calendars can be sewn by beginners and give a lot of opportunity for creativity: choosing a background fabric, adding matching pockets, edging ribbon and embellishments.

The pockets can be filled with treats (not included) and reused year after year. They are as much fun to sew as to enjoy for a delightful countdown to Christmas!

Snowflake pillows are a beautiful project for students with some sewing experience. They make great gifts as they are made with a super soft fleece and embellished with shiny velvet fabric. Learn how to work with both these challenging fabrics using the right stabilizer and appliqué method – and practice your best pivoting techniques for sewing the snowflake in place!
