Rice Frogs

In this PA day class students get the opportunity to sew one or maybe two of these adorable frogs. Rice frogs derive their name from their filling: rice! This makes them floppy enough to curl into a sitting position and sturdy enough to remain in it.

This class is suitable for beginners. First time sewers will learn how to operate a sewing machine before sewing their frog. The class also includes some useful hand sewing techniques: sewing on of buttons for the frog’s eyes and closing the filling opening of the frog by hand.
