It gives a lot of opportunity for creativity: choosing a background fabric\, adding matching pockets\, edging ribbon and embellishments.\n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n\nStudents with some sewing experience can choose to sew a quilted advent calendar. They will learn to work with stabilizer\, layering a quilt with batting and backing fabric\, as well as adding a border.\n  \n  \n  \n  \n\nThe pockets of the Advent calendar can be filled with treats (not included) and reused year after year.
